E-Commerce & Digital Agency – Informed by Research, Driven by Results
Social media marketing is just one of the cogs in the digital marketing machine, but it is a non-negotiable when wanting to reach an audience. Social media offers an affordable way to reach customers, both organically and through paid media.
Social Media Services are services provided by social media service providers for businesses to fulfill their social media needs.
The social media platforms you should be active on depends entirely on which social media platforms your ideal customer uses. Think of your ideal customers, which social media platform they use, and be active on those.
We always advise registering your brand on all of the social media platforms to ensure your brand owns all of the platforms where it could be – it does not mean you have to be active on them though.
Facebook: 1 x per day, up to 2 x per day. If your audience is less than 10 000, don’t post too often as it can cause people to stop following you.
Instagram – 2 – 3 times per week, with stories every day. Instagram now favours reels, so videos are extremely important.
TikTok – 1 – 3 times per day, or as often as possible.
twitter – 1 – 2 times per day, up to max 5 times per day
Growing organically on social media is very hard. It takes a lot more time, effort and input to see even a fraction of the success compared to if social media is supported by the channel’s paid support channels.
Organic = not supported by advertising. So, in essence, orgaic social media means scial media efforts that are not supported by paid campaigns.
Post about what would catch the attention of your ideal customer, and then incorporate your products and services to that. Be genuine in your messaging, as your audience will see through content that is not genuine, and will look past elements that are too sales driven.
